Damn, it’s fast, and of course expensive to match (starting way, way, way out of my price range at a whopping $375,000), but I’m contemplating selling my house (and my soul) so I can afford the Lexus LFA (and all the subsequent speeding tickets I’ll surely get flying down I-35 at 200+ mph).

Jason Argent, the 2K Sports VP of marketing said he wanted the best of the NBA on the cover of the best NBA video game they’ve ever produced.

We know we have the best NBA video game ever made here. So we thought to ourselves how can we embody that and there was only one person on that list who we wanted to have and that was Michael Jordan.

The last time Air Jordan appeared in a video game was NBA Street Vol. 2 in 2003. His Airness is excited to return to the court, in a sense anyway. “I have no doubt that NBA 2K11 will be a big hit with gamers and basketball fans alike,” Jordan said. “I’m looking forward to getting back out on the court, virtually.”

I’m ready for some classic Air Jordan, who’s with me?

That’s right, Daniel, I called you ugly. The web redemption is cool because he goes and meets the people who make the viral video moments we cherish so dearly and squeezes a few more jokes out of them. New episodes begin tonight, Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010 at 10:30 EST on Comedy Central. To celebrate tonight’s new episode I present a video of a bit I saw on his show called “fire in the hole!”

O, you better believe there will be explosions and Megan Fox looking hot and sweaty. The marketing people behind Jonah Hex know they have a long hill to climb after the early buzz has this movie billed as this year’s Snakes on a Plane, and they try to make up some ground with this trailer. I don’t know, the way I heard people talk about it last go around I thought it was a Syfy network movie. This trailer doesn’t look horrible. Would both Josh Brolin and John Malkovich both sign on to a bad movie? Wait, Righteous Kill, Pacino, De Niro, never mind. Does it bother anyone else that Brolin’s character has a chewing tobacco eaten away face like the coach character on The Cleveland Show? It’s so unnerving. I guess this movie is based on a graphic novel or something as if I care about that nerdy crap. I guess it’s better than being based on a novel by Sapphire, but only slightly. Also, a big plus showing plenty of shots of Megan Fox and her possibly riding someone. That’s a smooth move, guys, honestly. Ever since she has been fired/quit from the newest Transformers movie she has been seeming much more attractive to me. Weird. Here’s the newest trailer.

The video game You Testament was featured on G4 television’s program Web Soup recently, and the first impression I got when watching it was, “Huh, that looks like an old wrestling game I use to play.” Wait a minute, what do wrestling and Jesus have in common that they should both have the same video game engine? A fair question, right? The answer is nothing, really, except in the mind of Mat Dickie. He created the game of confusing religious tenets where you can beat up Jesus and do other stuff too. What else matters after being able to attack Jesus, though? The concept of the whole video game and Chris Hardwick making fun of it are funny, but what made the whole thing even funnier is a review I found of the game on a Christian video game website. Here’s a few highlights:

“I had to test attacking Jesus as part of my job as a reviewer.
I am so sorry, Jesus! Please forgive me!

Early in the game I was holding a metal spike and I was going to hug Jesus but I pressed the wrong button and poked the spike in His face! His face remained scarred and His eyes were all bloody for most of the game after that. Why would it let me do this horrible thing?

“Even though I stabbed Him in the face with a spike, Jesus still forgave me!
This part of the game is a very accurate Jesus simulation.”

“There were also weird quotes on the loading screens from people like Confucius, Buddha, Mohammed, Osama Bin Ladin, Barack Obama, Bruce Lee, Kanye West, and Jay-Z. Those made no sense in a Biblical game at all. It’s like some sort of mashup of Christianity with all sorts of false religions. I think Mat Dickie, the game’s sole creator, is a very confused person. At least I hope it is confusion and not intentional deception.

I would give this game five crosses for the way it lets you live through the Bible and witness Jesus first-hand, but I must subtract crosses for being able to beat up Jesus and getting Jesus’ teachings mixed up with things like Hinduism and the Matrix.”

The review is full of unwitting gems such as that one. And yes, I realize I am going to hell for this. If you would like to do blasphemous things you can download the game for free here, but you can only play it three times apparently.

This guy has a dead-on impression of Ian McKellen. He doesn’t just have an impression where he can mimic a few lines of Shakespeare or some lines from The Lord of the Rings movies either. He chooses to flex the impression skills mainly by reciting television theme songs as Sir Ian McKellen. Most people have seen him do The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song, but check out him doing the Saved by the Bell theme song. It’s just as good.

Finally, a reason to post a Megan Fox picture! A flurry of internet reports emerged yesterday saying Megan Fox had been fired from the movie Transformers 3. Late last night representatives of Megan Fox contradicted those reports by saying the actress had quit the movie on her own. The old, “You can’t fire me, I quit!” move- solid. I first saw the contradictory reports saying she quit on WWTDD this morning. I have a question. Who says it would be so bad from a public relations perspective if she did get fired from the almost assuredly turdly Transformers 3. Almost any way you get out of being in that movie can be viewed in a positive light. Fox could have cited her need to devote more time to helping Nigerian princes in their efforts to scam foreigners out of more money, and I would have been alright with it. This is a wake up call to all of those who think Megan Fox is just a pretty face… and a nice body… and shiny hair that smells good I bet. She is smarter than you think. She’s getting out of the Transformer business while it is still not too late, I think. I haven’t seen the first two movies. I tend to boycott movie reboots of things I liked in my childhood.

The CNN SciTechBlog highlights four of them. Why can’t Google and Facebook chill out a little and not be so concerned with knowing every detail about us in order to monetize every penny they can. Clam down, guys, we just want to use the damn internet. If we want to buy something we’ll let you know.
